Brian D. Turner, Jr.

Brian Turner's practice focuses primarily on complex civil litigation, including class actions and mass tort litigation. He has worked on national litigation committees, including steering committees and various sub-committees for several pharmaceutical mass tort litigation matters. Brian received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of South Florida, and his Juris Doctor degree from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University.
Brian is a member of the Alabama State Bar Association and is admitted to practice in all of Alabama's State and Federal Courts as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Brian has been admitted to practice pro hac vice in various State and Federal courts throughout the United States.
Brian has served in leadership roles in the Alabama State Bar, including serving on the Executive Committee of the Family Law Section of the bar, and as a member of the Alabama Civil Court Mediator Roster. He has served on committees with the Birmingham Bar Association and is a member of the American Association for Justice and the Alabama Association for Justice. He has been involved in groups regarding pharmaceutical litigation through these organizations.
Community involvement is also very important to Brian. He has been involved in various charitable events around Birmingham, and he serves as a pro bono mediator for Jefferson and Shelby County, Alabama domestic relations courts. He has also provided legal services to the Big Oak Ranch, an organization that provides homes for children in need. Brian has received the National Multiple Sclerosis Society's Tiffany Leadership Award. He also teaches the high school Sunday School class at his church.
