Junk Faxes/Telephone Consumer Protection Act

Congress passed the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) of 1991, and the Junk Fax Prevention Act (JFPA) of 2005, to protect consumers and businesses from receiving unsolicited advertisement faxes.  Even accidentally faxing an unsolicited advertisement can result in a penalty of $500 per page, with more damages available if the faxer did it knowingly and willingly.  Even if you have an established business relationship with the company sending you unsolicited faxes, if the sender does not comply with a long list of requirements, it can still be liable for the unwanted advertisements.  These faxes waste your time and money.  Contact us if you are being abused by junk faxers.
