Mediating Traditional Family Law Matters

Mediation is an expeditious, cost-effective alternative method of resolving a family law dispute. Parties are able to resolve their dispute quickly without having to wait for a court date, and mediation also offers the benefit of being significantly less expensive than proceeding to trial.  Mediation is a particularly attractive alternative in family law disputes in that it offers the opportunity for non-legal issues to be addressed, whereas court proceedings typically address only issues of law.  Additionally, since both parties have participated in the settlement process and agreed to the terms of the settlement, they are more likely to abide by its terms.
